Watch the love grow!

The other night I was putting the u/s pictures away in the keepsake box. But before I put them away, I had to put them on the table in sequence of events and just admire how much the baby is growing and changing.

From a little peanut, to a hungry little Babycakes sucking its thumb.

Of course, I had to share.

I'm bummed that I have to wait till week 32 to see Babycakes again. B and I decided that we are going to get a 3D u/s, creepy as they are, there still pretty cool. And besides, all the cool kids are doing it.

All the activities

What are you doing in there Babycakes?

You have been so active the last few days.
Its like you are having your own holiday party in there. Do you like football? We watched football all day yesterday and you were just going to town in there. Or do you like parties at the neighbors house..or maybe you were trying to tell me you didn't like the neighbor singing along to Phil Collins.
Either way, I have to say, I love it. Its such a awesome feeling.

Yea, right. You know I have a lot more to say than that.
In all seriousness, I want to know how someone can take MY pregnancy and make them about them?
I am NOT sorry we are not finding out the sex. It's what I want.
You will have to wait like everyone else. Once Babycakes is here, feel free to buy all the gender specific clothing you want.

That was not there last night

Holy Santa clause. Now that is a baby bump.

I am not kidding when I say I went to bed and woke up twice, maybe three times, as much more pregnant than the day before.

Maybe this is why it is so hard to bend over?

You'll have to excuse the crappy cell phone picture. I was telling a few friends about the bump and they insisted to see pictures. Unlike my friend Merin, I do not carry a camera with me at all times. So this is as good as it gets. In the work bathroom. Sounds dirty, doesn't it.

21 weeks

Bending over

Is over rated. I mean, seriously, who needs it.

I have now resorted to slip on shoes of any kind. Let me tell you how well that has been working out me. Not very well. It has either snowed or rained for the past I don't know how many days. And of course mother nature cant make her mind up. So it snows one day, rains the next. So whether its snow, rain or puddles of melted snow, that crap is still out there and of course I step in it. Needless to say, my socks get wet every.single.day. But slipping on my shoes is SO much easier than bending over to put shoes on. Actually bending over to do anything sucks. And its only going to get worse.

ITS A SURPRISE!!!!

We told the u/s tech that we didn't want to know the sex and she did a wonderful job of getting all the measurements she needed without revealing anything. Babycakes is weighing in at 10oz and everything is perfect and right on track.

Babycakes had enough towards the end of the u/s and rolled towards my back.

But then entire time Babycakes had its thumb or entire hand in its mouth and was kicking up a storm. Its was so funny.

HALF WAY!!!

I cant believe we are at the half way mark.
20 weeks and counting. Time is sure flying by!
When I think about it, I kinda spaz out. I think I have so much to do. I thought it would be a good idea to wait until after the holidays to start on the nursery, register and help set a date for the baby shower....but NO.... I totally have to take charge and start NOW!
